Oweka Warranty Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Oweka’s Warranty Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). These Terms apply to all Oweka products purchased directly from www.oweka.in or our authorized retail partners. By purchasing an Oweka product, you agree to abide by these Terms in full.
Warranty Coverage
Oweka (“we”, “our”, “us”) warrants its products to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal domestic household use for the following periods, commencing from the original purchase date:

- Hair Dryers, Straighteners, Curlers, Multistylers

Warranty Period
- 2 Year

Scope of Warranty
This limited warranty covers:
- Only manufacturing defects proven by Oweka’s authorized inspection.
- Free repair or replacement of defective parts or the entire product, at Oweka’s sole discretion.
- If exact parts or products are unavailable, Oweka may substitute with a model or part of similar value and functionality.
Exclusions What is Not Covered
This limited warranty does NOT cover and will be void if:
The product is damaged due to:
- Improper installation, misuse, negligence, or accidents.
- Commercial, non-domestic, or professional use.
- Failure to follow operating instructions, including electrical guidelines.
- Natural disasters, power surges, or voltage fluctuations.
The product shows:
- Normal wear and tear, scratches, cosmetic damage, or discoloration.
- Damage from unauthorized repairs, alterations, or use of non-genuine parts.
- Tampering with serial numbers, warranty stickers, or product labels.
Other:
- Consumable parts, attachments, or accessories (e.g., brushes, clips) are not covered unless specified.
- Minor performance variations due to prolonged usage.
- Loss, theft, or intentional damage.
Conditions for Claim Eligibility
- You must be the original purchaser. The warranty is non-transferable.
- Warranty claims must be made within the warranty period.
- You must present a valid proof of purchase (invoice or bill from www.oweka.in or an authorized seller).
- Oweka reserves the right to inspect and verify the product at its service center before approving any claim.
Process for Warranty Claims
Contact our support team at care@owekaelectricals.in with:
- Product name and clear issue description.
- Purchase invoice copy.
- Clear images or videos showing the defect.
Our team will validate your claim within a reasonable time. If requested, you must ship the product to our designated service center at your cost. Oweka is not responsible for any loss or damage during transit.
If the defect is confirmed to be covered, Oweka will repair or replace the product free of cost and bear return shipping.
If the claim is not valid, the customer will be notified. The product will be returned at the customer’s cost.
Limitations of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Oweka’s total liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product only.
- Oweka shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses or damages, including but not limited to loss of use, income, or time.
- Oweka does not offer monetary compensation or refunds under warranty except where repair or replacement is impossible.
Fraudulent or Misleading Claims
- Oweka reserves the right to reject any claim that is suspected to be fraudulent, misleading, or made in bad faith.
- Misuse of the warranty or submission of false claims may result in loss of warranty coverage for that product and possible legal action under applicable Indian laws.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi.
Changes to These Terms
Oweka reserves the right to modify these Warranty Terms at its sole discretion. Any changes will be posted on www.oweka.in. The version in force at the time of purchase shall apply.
